Entertainment Weekly writers and editors compiled the list in honor of its 20th anniversary, noting fictional characters that have made a lasting impact on pop culture since 1990.
Jerry Maguire stars Tom Cruise as an arrogant sports agent who conscious gets the better of him, and after writing a manifesto that pledges to do more for his clients and change the business, he loses his job. Only the shy single mom Dorothy (played by Renee Zellweger) and egomaniacal football player Rod Tidwell (played by Cuba Gooding Jr.) stick by his side.
