Don’t Mess With Paula Patton! New ‘Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol’ Clip

‘Ethan Hunt’ (Tom Cruise) isn’t the only one who gets up close and personal with the bad guys in ‘Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol’. IMF agent ‘Jane Carter’ (Paula Patton) proves she can hold her own against the beautiful but villainous spy, played by Léa Seydoux.

Though the latest clip released by Paramount Pictures may be short on dialogue, it is full of action as the women engage in a fierce round of hand-to-hand combat. ‘Brandt’ (Jeremy Renner) better finish up whatever he is doing because the bullets are starting to fly!

Through the ‘Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol’ clips released over the past few weeks, we’ve learned ‘Brandt’ has a fear of heights, while ‘Ethan Hunt’ definitely does not and ‘Benji Dunn’ tries to be prepared for anything.

Despite their differences, the surviving members of the team must work together to clear the organization’s name after the IMF is blamed for a bombing at the Kremlin. Lead operative ‘Ethan Hunt’ (Tom Cruise) is disavowed along with the rest of the agency after the President initiates “Ghost Protocol.” Left without any resources or backup, ‘Ethan’ must find a way to clear the agency’s name and prevent another terrorist attack. To complicate matters further, ‘Ethan’ is forced to embark on this mission with a team of fellow IMF fugitives whose personal motives he does not fully know.

Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol’ stars Tom Cruise, Jeremy Renner, Simon Pegg, Paula Patton, Michael Nyqvist, Vladimir Mashkov, Josh Holloway, Anil Kapoor and Léa Seydoux. Directed by two-time Academy Award winner Brad Bird, ‘Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol’ will be in theaters and IMAX on December 21, 2011.

Unless Paula Patton does not bite. I’m sure that it is mild. And in the movies sharply.
