If you had “No Backup. No Contact. No Plan. No Choice” what would you do? The IMF team doesn’t let those minor details deter them from their mission. No way! Whether they are disavowed by the President or hanging by a thread from the Burj Khalifa, ‘Ethan Hunt’ (Tom Cruise), ‘Brandt’ (Jeremy Renner), ‘Benji Dunn’ (Simon Pegg) and ‘Jane Carter’ (Paula Patton) will find a way to complete their mission and that fierce determination is displayed in the new ‘Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol’ character banner as first revealed on MSN Entertainment.
In an expanded version of the latest movie poster, the isolation of the surviving members of the IMF team, as a whole as well as individuals, is illustrated by separately showcasing each character along with a caption summarizing the aspect of the mission that is most specifically challenging to them. ‘Ethan Hunt,’ must lead the elite spy team without any support or backup from the agency. The beautiful ‘Jane Carter’ may have no contact but will find a way to carry out the mission. ‘Benji Dunn’ must work his technological wizardry without any plan or resources. The motives of the newest team member, ‘Brandt,’ are unclear and it is possible that he will have no choice in his actions.
‘Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol’ stars Tom Cruise, Jeremy Renner, Simon Pegg, Paula Patton, Michael Nyqvist, Vladimir Mashkov, Josh Holloway, Anil Kapoor and Léa Seydoux and the new television spot features even more of the international cast in action in exotic locations. We were especially impressed with the moves of the seductive Paula Patton!
Strategically situated around Red Square, the IMF is ready to engage in their own mission when ‘Ethan Hunt’ (Tom Cruise) senses something is wrong and an explosion rocks Red Square. Disavowed when the President initiates “Ghost Protocol,” the surviving members of the IMF team must operate off the grid to track down the truth.
Directed by two-time Academy Award winner Brad Bird, ‘Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol’ will be released in IMAX theaters on December 16, 2011 and nationwide on December 21, 2011.
