And the results are in!! Thanks to all the fans who took the time to respond, including Valentina Albanez (@Valita94), who voted for the winning image of Tom on the set of ‘The Last Samurai.’
As you can see in the photo, Tom is taking a break from playing ‘Nathan Algren’ to consult with ‘The Last Samurai’ director, Edward Zwick. While we’re not sure exactly what these two were discussing when this image was snapped, they seem to be on the same wavelength as they casually sit on the floor.
Nominated for four Academy Awards, the critically acclaimed film stars Tom Cruise as ‘Nathan Algren,’ an American solider who embraces the samurai culture after he is captured during a battle against the warriors. The period drama film focused on the events during wake of the Meiji Restoration in the Empire of Japan.
