‘Super 8’ Movie Premiere: Tom Cruise Shows Support For Friends J.J. Abrams & Steven Spielberg!

Last night’s premiere of the movie ‘Super 8’ brought out some of Hollywood’s biggest names, and a slew of up and coming talent to the Regency Village Theatre in Westwood, California. Among them were Director J.J. Abrams, Producer Steven Spielberg, Tom Cruise, Elle Fanning, Kyle Chandler, Jaime King, Pete Wentz, Jorge Garcia, and many more.

Tom Cruise has collaborated with both Steven Spielberg and J.J. Abrams in various movies throughout his career, including “War of the Worlds”,  “Minority Report”, “Mission Impossible 3”, and the much-anticipated ‘Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol’, which is to be released in December, 2011.

When asked why he wanted to attend the premiere, Tom Cruise said he wanted to support the film and his friends. He also took the opportunity to say the following about J.J. Abrams, “ He’s a great guy, enormously talented, and fun as hell to work with.”
