Take a peek at this gripping romance in the trailer below:
Katie stars opposite Josh Duhamel and Anna Paquin as the third side to a love triangle coming to a head at a New England wedding. Duhamel’s character is set to marry Paquin, Katie’s best friend, However, he secretly still feels for Katie, his former love! Which woman will win the winsome chap is entirely up in the air.
Katie Holmes was joined by Tom Cruise for the New York premiere of The Romantics at The Film Society at Lincoln Center to celebrate the opening of her leading role in the film by writer/director Niederhoffer. You can check out her thoughts on the movie in the video from Entertainment Tonight below:
Niederhoffer first wrote the original story as a novel set among a quirky college clique reuniting for tension-filled wedding. The ensemble cast also includes vaunted co-stars Elijah Wood, Malin Akerman, Adam Brody, Dianna Agron and Candice Bergen. How’s that for a seriously talented line-up!? We can’t wait to see this group in dramatic action.
Like a kettle on the stove, the romantic tension looks to get loud when it starts to boil. Even The Romantics poster looks steamy below:
