From the Official www.TomCruise.com Blog:
Viola Davis, one of the co-stars of the new Tom Cruise movie Knight and Day, is turning her attention to the stage in the Broadway revival of August Wilson’s Fences, opposite Denzel Washington.
This clip from the New York Times offers a glimpse inside the play, with Viola discussing her character Rose and working with Denzel:
Fences, which starred James Earl Jones and Mary Alice in the original production, ran for 15 months and won a Tony Award for best play in 1987, in addition to winning the Pulitzer Prize for drama. If you live in New York or will be in the city, you can watch Viola and Denzel during their 13-week engagement at the Cort Theater, which opened April 26.
