Happy Anniversary to Valkyrie!

From the Official www.TomCruise.com Blog:

On December 25th 2008, Valkyrie came out in theatres!

It has been a year since Tom Cruise took on the role of Colonel Claus von Stauffenberg, an Army Officer who wants to save Germany from Hitler. Valkyrie won the BMI Film Music Award and VES Award (Visual Effects Society) and was nominated 8 times, including Saturn Awards’ Best Action/Adventure/Thriller Film, Best Actor, Best Costume, Best Director, Best Music, Best Supporting Actor, and Best Supporting Actress.

As part of our first anniversary celebration for Valkyrie, here’s a short documentary about the movie. Director Bryan Singer and writer Christopher McQuarrie talk about the plot and historical significance of the movie, and Tom Cruise’s role as Colonel Claus von Stauffenberg.

Also check out a snippet of an interview with Tom Cruise and Bryan Singer that aired right before the movie was released:

Happy Holidays and a Happy Anniversary to Valkyrie! Wishing everybody a Happy New Year and a great 2010! :)

Fun Movie Fact:
‘Vanilla Sky’, ‘Jerry Maguire’, ‘A Few Good Men’, ‘Rain Man’ and ‘Taps’ are Tom Cruise movies that have all been released during Christmas season.

Valkyrie was one of the best movies of 2008! I saw it twice at the cinema and now twice on bluray! Can’t wait for Knight And Day!
