Knight and Day Co-Star Viola Davis Signs on for More Movies

Viola Davis, one of Tom Cruise’s co-stars in his new movie ‘Knight and Day,’ has landed several new roles!

Davis will star opposite Zach Galifianakis in ‘It’s Kind of a Funny Story’ from Focus Features, and in the drama ‘Trust,’ directed by David Schwimmer, according to Variety. In ‘It’s Kind of a Funny Story,’ Davis will play a psychiatrist who helps a clinically depressed 15 year-old “understand his anxieties,” while in ‘Trust,’ she will play a counselor assigned to the case of a 14 year-old girl who is victimized by an adult who posed as a teenager on a chat room.

In ‘Knight and Day,’ Davis will star as a CIA director trying to decipher the real meaning behind the “high-wire activities” of Tom Cruise and co-star Cameron Diaz. Tom plays an agent, whose blind date (Diaz) comes with him on a whirlwind journey to protect a powerful battery holding the key to an infinite power source. Currently, Davis stars in ‘Law Abiding Citizen,’ with Jamie Foxx and Gerard Butler.

You should make more movies if possible… I can’t wait to see the one that will give you The Oscar, even tho you’ve won the Public one many times!

I cannot wait for “Knight & Day” to premier! Tom is still my favorite actor. I simply adore him and his movie choices are always good.
