‘Mission: Impossible III’ director J.J. Abrams is back at it again, juggling a TV series and an untitled feature pitch for Paramount. Talk about busy!
Abrams has just sold a new adventure action series for NBC, according to Variety. The “Alias,” and “Lost” creator partnered with “Felicity” writer Josh Reims for an hour-long spy thriller, which “centers on spies who are also married.”
Meanwhile, Abrams also sold an untitled pitch from writer Aline Brosh McKenna and Simon Kinberg to Paramount, also from Variety. He is set to produce, but they won’t tell us anything about the plot. This is all in addition to Abrams’ producing duties on the hit TV show “Fringe” and executive producing his new medical comedy for TV.
