More news on filming locations for Tom Cruise’s latest movie, the upcoming film with Cameron Diaz from 20th Century Fox that’s being referred to as the untitled James Mangold project:
According to hyper-local news site Wicked Local, Cruise and Diaz will be shooting scenes next month in a cornfield in Bridgewater, Massachusetts. Filming will take place on the privately owned Cumberland Farms, simulating a plane crash in Indiana.
The action comedy is about a perpetually single woman (Diaz) who unknowingly goes on a blind date with a secret agent (Cruise), which turns into a whirlwind journey to protect a powerful battery that holds the key to an infinite power source. So far, confirmation on casting include Maggie Grace, who will play Diaz’ engaged sister, and Marc Blucas, who will star as Diaz’ ex-boyfriend who’s still in love with her.
