A while back, we told you that Tom Cruise and J.J. Abrams might be getting together again to produce ‘Mission: Impossible IV.’ Well, it looks as though that may be coming closer to fruition. According to Variety, Josh Applebaum and Andre Nemec have been hired to write the screenplay. The two were co-executive producers on the TV show “Alias,” created by Abrams. Moreover, it’s being reported that the character of Ethan Hunt (played by Cruise) will “certainly be involved in an onscreen capacity.”
So does this mean Tom is reprising his role in the movie franchise? No word on that yet, but we’ll keep you updated as we find out more!
